Matthew Artrip

Matt has a unique perspective and understanding on the construction and customization of new build yachts having spent the previous 15 years sailing as Captain & Chief Mate on some of the most reputable yachts in the world. During his time in the industry, he was fortunate enough to be a part of multiple new build and refit projects while being permanently based at shipyards around the world, including, Northern Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, France, US East Coast and US West Coast. It was during his time at these shipyards that led to the incorporation of Artrip Maritime as Matt experienced first hand the intricacies involved during the construction phase and the value of having an experienced and reputable new build and refit consultant. Matt has gained extensive experience in yacht construction, technical specification management and client liaison and has been closely involved in the successful delivery of notable high profile new build yacht projects.
